ECOVACS has unveiled its latest flagship robot vacuum and mop, the DEEBOT X12 OmniCyclone, designed to tackle real world mess like dried spills, muddy paw prints, and everyday dirt with a more proactive approach to cleaning.
At the centre is FocusJet™ Stain Pre Dissolving Technology, which uses infrared and camera based detection to identify dried on stains and apply targeted water jets before cleaning. This works alongside the upgraded OZMO™ Roller Mop 3.0, featuring a 27cm high density roller and a 32 channel pressurised spray system that continuously rinses the mop with clean water as it cleans. The aim is to avoid dirty on dirty mopping while maintaining even pressure and delivering a more consistent finish across hard floors.
The X12 is built to handle mixed flooring without interruption. It automatically lifts the mop when moving onto carpet, while a Mop Roller Smart Cover helps prevent moisture transfer, keeping carpets dry during a clean. Combined with PowerBoost™ Charging Plus, the robot can recharge quickly and resume cleaning with minimal downtime, making it better suited to larger homes.
Performance is driven by ECOVACS’ BLAST™ airflow system, delivering up to 22,000Pa suction, while ZeroTangle™ 4.0 reduces hair wrapping around the brush, making it ideal for homes with pets. TruEdge™ 3.0 Adaptive Edge Cleaning improves coverage along walls and corners, and AI powered navigation allows the robot to move intelligently around furniture, cables, and other obstacles.
The OMNI Station handles most of the maintenance, including mop washing and drying, debris emptying, and cleaning solution management. It also uses a bagless PureCyclone™ system to maintain strong suction while reducing consumables, with heated water washing and self cleaning components helping keep the system hygienic with minimal input.
Matter and Apple Home
The X12 supports Matter and integrates with Apple Home, allowing it to be controlled and automated alongside other smart home devices rather than being limited to the ECOVACS app. As always, functionality will depend on what is exposed through Matter, but the support is a strong step towards broader interoperability.
The DEEBOT X12 OmniCyclone is available now for $1,499 in the US via Amazon and $1,999.99 CAD in Canada.
