Although not fully HomeKit relevant, it looks like an Apple TV 4k with an A12x processor may be on its way. Well, that is if claims made by Jon Prosser who is a prolific leaker of Apple hardware and software information.
According to Prosser, the Apple TV 4K will feature an A12X chip and 64 or 128GB storage options. The current Apple TV 4K uses the A10X processor and is more than sufficient to handle everything that is thrown at it. But with the additional HomeKit features coming in iOS14 later this year, will an upgraded processor be a requirement of the facial recognition feature?
