SwitchBot has announced the Battery Circulator Fan 2 Pro, a smart fan that the company says is the world’s first battery-powered air circulator with Matter over Wi-Fi support. Combining cordless operation, smart home integration and quiet performance, it’s designed to work both indoors and outdoors.
Cordless design with long battery life
The Battery Circulator Fan 2 Pro features a built-in rechargeable battery that provides up to 70 hours of runtime on a single charge, depending on usage. A carry handle on the rear makes it easy to move around the home or garden, while the fan can be completely dismantled—including the blades, front and rear covers, and filter—for easier cleaning.
It also includes an integrated aroma cartridge, allowing users to add fragrances while the fan is running.
Powerful airflow with quiet operation
Powered by a DC brushless motor, the fan offers multiple speed settings along with 90° horizontal and vertical oscillation to help distribute air throughout a room.
For maximum cooling, Turbo Mode delivers airflow up to 110ft (33.5m) with wind speeds reaching 6.5m/s.
Despite its performance, SwitchBot says the fan remains exceptionally quiet thanks to its SilenTech technology, producing as little as 21dB in Sleep Mode. The built-in display also automatically dims at night to reduce distractions.
Matter support for Apple Home and more
One of the biggest features is native Matter over Wi-Fi support, allowing the Battery Circulator Fan 2 Pro to integrate with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Homey, and other Matter-compatible platforms.
Using the SwitchBot app, users can also control fan speed, change operating modes, create schedules and manage other settings remotely.
Price and availability
The SwitchBot Battery Circulator Fan 2 Pro is available now in the United States for $119.99 through SwitchBot.
SwitchBot said that UK and European availability is expected around September. SwitchBot already sells its Standing Circulator Fan in several regions, but the new Battery Circulator Fan 2 Pro adds the convenience of cordless operation together with Matter support.
