Nanoleaf has expanded its smart lighting range with the launch of the Smart LED Monitor Stand, a new desktop accessory that combines ergonomic monitor support with customisable RGB lighting and Matter smart home compatibility.
Developed in partnership with Fantaqi, the Smart LED Monitor Stand is designed to do more than simply raise your display. It integrates task lighting, ambient lighting and smart home controls into a single product while also providing additional mounting options for desktop accessories.
A monitor stand designed for productivity
The stand is built around a solid wood base with a natural walnut veneer finish, measuring 100 x 22.5 x 12.1cm. It raises a monitor by up to 4 inches, helping position the display closer to eye level for improved posture during long working or gaming sessions.
It’s also capable of supporting a wide range of setups. Without the included centre support column, the stand can hold up to 28kg, while installing the support increases the maximum load to 70kg. Nanoleaf says this is enough to accommodate displays up to 42 inches, including many ultrawide and dual-monitor configurations.
For creators and streamers, the stand also features 23 mounting points, allowing accessories such as microphones, cameras and other desktop equipment to be attached directly to the stand.
Dual lighting system with 102 RGB zones
The Smart LED Monitor Stand incorporates Nanoleaf’s Dual-Flux Lighting technology, separating functional desk lighting from decorative ambient lighting.
The front-facing task light produces up to 550 lumens, providing illumination for working throughout the day, while the rear ambient lighting delivers up to 480 lumens through 102 individually addressable RGB lighting zones. The rear lighting is designed to wash the wall behind your monitor with a wide 160-degree spread, creating immersive lighting effects for gaming, films or music.
Users can also adjust the white colour temperature between 1,700K and 6,500K, making it easy to switch from warm evening lighting to cooler daylight tones.
Smart home integration
Like Nanoleaf’s existing lighting products, the Smart LED Monitor Stand supports Matter over WiFi, allowing it to integrate with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and other Matter-compatible smart home platforms.
Using the Nanoleaf app, users can customise colours and lighting effects, synchronise the stand with other Nanoleaf products, or enable features such as Rhythm Mode, which reacts to music, and Screen Mirror, which matches the colours displayed on your monitor for a more immersive experience.
The stand also includes touch controls and supports voice assistant control, giving users multiple ways to adjust lighting without opening the app.
