The Eve Cam was first announced at CES 2020 and takes advantage of HomeKit Secure Video to deliver privacy and no data sharing or account registration. Changes made in the 4.2 of the Eve app allow for a new full-screen view. This makes it easy to adjust your camera’s audio settings and offers a convenient push to talk functionality built into the Eve Cam.Eve Cam view

When the Eve Cam is released at the end of May, users will be able to view cameras easily in the “At a Glance” view. You will also be to view other features as part of the camera like motion sensors and when it last detected activity.

As privacy is the core of this camera, when at home you can disable all video features. But you can still use Eve Cam as a full-blown motion sensor to control your other HomeKit-enabled accessories.Eve cam app
