Nanoleaf announced that the GU10 and the downlight would join its Essentials range with Matter and HomeKit support back in November 2022. Now the company has made them available for preorder.
Consumers can experience the brilliance of pure whites and an array of vibrant colors using the new Essentials Matter GU10 and Recessed Downlight. These innovative smart LED Light Bulbs are equipped with Thread and Matter compatibility. This makes them effortlessly configurable and controllable across multiple smart home platforms, including HomeKit.
You can easily tailor the lighting to your preferences by adjusting the brightness, creating schedules, and crafting distinctive lighting scenes to suit any mood or occasion. Moreover, all Nanoleaf Essentials Matter products can be seamlessly grouped in the Nanoleaf App, ensuring smooth and synchronised operation. You can also control them in the Apple Home app.
As both the downlights and GU10 use Thread, and are permanently powered, they’ll also act as Thread Routers in order to extend the Thread network.
