LIFX, known for its line of HomeKit-connected lights and accessories, has announced several new products at CES 2020. These include a new Filament bulb, Candle bulb, strip lighting and a smart switch. If that was not enough, the LIFX app will get a makeover with a new dashboard view.
LIFX Z 360 Kit
LIFX will also launch the LIFX Z TV 360 Kit and the LIFX Z Gamer Kit. These light strips fit along the back of a TV or gaming monitor thanks to its corner connectors and LED strip pieces optimized for TVs. LIFX notes that there is a partnership with Razer to come with the Z TV 360, which will seek to provide an immersive gaming experience.

Candle White to Warm
The LIFX Candle White to Warm joins the previously announced LIFX Candle Color, offering tunable white light in a candelabra bulb. The Candle is a smaller light bulb that works in smaller environments or devices. The candelabra bulb offers multiple white-light color temperatures ranging from a warm, candle-like glow to hotter tones.

LIFX Switch
The LIFX Switch is a small wall switch with four buttons to control both dumb and smart LIFX bulbs. Each one button is lit from behind for easy control even in the dark. You also get Tactile feedback when the button is pressed, to let you know it has responded. The switch will require installation and will replace a 4 gang existing switch. The LIFX Switch won’t dim the lights, though. You still must use the app or a voice command to adjust the brightness

LIFX Filament
LIFX’s new filament bulbs are HomeKit-enabled and are available in a single warm white color. LIFX plans to debut the filament bulbs in different colours thanks to the finishes which includes smokey, amber, and clear.

New app design
To top it all off, a new LIFX mobile app that itself is getting a re-design. Starting mid-January, the app will allow users to create and manage schedules to automate the control of their smart lights. A new design will let you personalise and group settings and devices together. All of which can then be viewed in the new Dashboard view to give the user more control.
