After launching in North America back in January, the eufy Omni S2 is now finally available in the UK and EU. Eufy has officially launched its new flagship robot vacuum the EU and UK after first unvealing it in North America back in Janaury. The Omni S2, oiginally revealed ahead of CES 2026, where it received a Best of Innovation award, the Omni S2 combines powerful suction, advanced mopping technology, AI driven intelligence, and the industry’s first built in aromatherapy system for a robot vacuum.
It also supports Matter and Apple Home, meaning it can be added directly into Apple Home for automations and control through the Home app on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac.
A New Approach to Deep Cleaning
At the core of the Omni S2 is eufy’s upgraded HydroJet 2.0 self cleaning mopping system. Unlike traditional robot mops, HydroJet 2.0 electrolyzes tap water to eliminate up to 99.99 percent of common household germs, helping actively sanitise hard floors during cleaning rather than simply wiping them.
The system uses dual scraper mechanisms that clean the mop rollers six times per second, continuously removing dirty water from the floor surface. Combined with 15 newtons of downward pressure, currently one of the highest figures in the robot vacuum industry, the Omni S2 is designed to tackle dried on dirt, spills, and stubborn stains far more effectively than previous generations.
For the first time in the robot vacuum category, eufy has also integrated an aromatherapy system directly into the cleaning process. During cleaning cycles, the Omni S2 releases a subtle fragrance throughout the home. Available scents include Citrus and Basil, Bamboo and Sage, and Bergamot and Lychee.
30,000Pa Suction and Advanced Carpet Handling
Vacuuming performance is powered by the AeroTurbo 2.0 system, delivering up to 30,000Pa of suction, placing the Omni S2 among the most powerful robot vacuums announced to date.
A dual zero tangle brush system is designed to capture hair and debris without clogging, reducing manual maintenance. Cyclone separation technology also helps maintain filter performance for up to 90 days.
The Omni S2 automatically detects carpet types and adjusts suction power accordingly. It can clean carpet piles up to 50mm deep, cross thresholds up to 35mm, and uses an adaptive chassis capable of lifting by up to 5cm to navigate layered rugs and thick mats without getting stuck.
Intelligent Cleaning and Automated Maintenance
The Omni S2 combines its CleanMind AI system with the UniClean Station 2.0 to deliver a highly autonomous cleaning experience.
Using next generation 3D sensing and machine learning, the robot can identify and avoid more than 200 common household obstacles, including cables, shoes, toys, and clutter. The upgraded 3D MatrixEye 2.0 system can also detect rug tassels to prevent tangling.
Advanced stain recognition allows the Omni S2 to identify over 40 different types of messes, including food spills and pet footprints. It then dynamically adjusts water output, mop pressure, and scrubbing duration depending on the mess and floor type.
The system can recognise rooms, furniture placement, and floor surfaces to generate detailed 3D maps inside the companion app for more accurate navigation.
Maintenance is handled entirely by the UniClean Station 2.0, which automatically empties the dustbin, washes and dries the mop, refills clean water, and manages detergent automatically. The station also generates hypochlorous acid and ozone water directly within the water tank, helping deliver up to a 99.99 percent reduction in pathogens.
Matter and Apple Home Support
The Omni S2 includes Matter support, enabling compatibility across major smart home ecosystems while also supporting native integration with Apple Home.
For Apple users, this means the robot vacuum can be added directly into the Home app alongside lights, locks, cameras, and other Matter compatible accessories. It can also be used in scenes and automations, such as starting a cleaning cycle when everyone leaves the house or pausing cleaning when someone returns home.
Matter support also helps reduce long term reliance on proprietary ecosystems, improving interoperability and future compatibility as smart home standards continue evolving.
Availability
The robot vacuum is priced at £1599.99 / €1599.99 and is available through the Eufys own website and Amazon
