This week at CES 2022, Wemo announced the immediate availability of the Wemo Smart Video Doorbell. The new smart video doorbell works exclusively with HomeKit Secure Video and is available today for $249.99.
The HomeKit doorbell measures 1.4 inches deep and 4.9 inches high. It has a 178-degree vertical field of view and 4MP high-resolution camera with night vision. It also features IP55 weatherproofing and works on 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Power is provided by a wired power (16-24v AC).
Belkin has designed the Wemo smart doorbell to work exclusively with HomeKit Secure Video. Which means it support secure end-to-end encryption and iCloud storage. Which Includes a 10-day recording history, custom Activity Zones and people, pets, cars or package detection. All of this is possible if you are using a HomeKit hub and the relevant iCloud account.
The Wemo Smart Video Doorbell is available today from its website for $249.99 in the US. No word on European or rest of the world availability at this stage.
