Onvis Kameleon multiple colour light strip on its way with HomeKit

Onvis are planning the release of its first lighting product, called the Kameleon K1. The new HomeKit compatible smart light strip will feature the ability to set zones of colour along the strip. Along with the ability to set transitions and colour effects for individual LED’s.

The Onvis Kameleon can allow users to set zones of colour along the strip. This means you can set different colours for various sections of the strip, hence the name perhaps. Users will also be able to programme preset colours, various effects and transition of colour along the individual LED’s.

Onvis has opted for 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for connectivity for the Kameleon and it will connect to HomeKit without a hub. Onvis are making the Kameleon available in 2 and 5 meter lengths, but you cannot extend or cut the strip.Kameleon K1 controller music mic

In addition, with suggesting a long press will cycle through preset colours.

Pricing for the Onvis Kameleon K1 has not been confirmed, but the smart light strip should be available around mid to end of April 2021 in the US, UK and Germany via Amazon and its online store.
