Meross, the China-based company is planning to release the Meross Smart Air Purifier with HomeKit support in July. (MAP100). Meross reached out to me to provide some details, so continue reading below.
The new product will be formally called Meross Smart Wi-Fi Air Purifier (MAP100) will be a cylindrical design measuring 7.1 x 7.1 x 15.4. As its name suggests it will connect via Wi-Fi to your home network. It will also work with Apple HomeKit along with Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant.
The filter used is a standard HEPA 13 filter type designed to remove up to 99.97% of particles. Meross has told me it can work in rooms with an area of coverage up to 207 sq.ft.
In terms of pricing Meross said it was too early to say how much the unit will cost. But given Meross competitive pricing, it’s expected to be between $140 – $160. Initially, Meross plans to launch the product to the US market, but more countries will follow. Finally, expect the Meross Smart Wi-Fi Air Purifier. to ship in July.
