Meross first entered the mmWave presence space with the MS600, a wired, Wi-Fi-based sensor that demonstrated both the potential and the frustrations of early presence detection. The MS605, represents a far more fundamental shift in how Meross now approaches presence sensing, power delivery and platform integration. With Bluetooth and Matter over Thread connectivity, battery-powered operation and, crucially for Apple users, three independently exposed presence zones inside HomeKit,
After living with the MS605 in my ensuite, where it controls two separate lighting zones using real presence rather than motion guesswork like you would in a traditional PIR sensor. It brings some significant upgrades to home automation, but its also not perfect.
