Yobi a US based smart home company, is taking pre-orders for a HomeKit video doorbell, named the Yobi B3.
The news comes via HomeKit enthusiast blog HomeKitNews, which is reporting the news. However, according to a Reddit user and looking at Yobi’s website. It would appear that the company announced the Video doorbell back in September 2019.
According to the company’s website, the Yobi B3 will feature full HD 1080p video with a 180º field of view, infrared night vision and a two-way audio speaker/mic. It will also feature a PIR motion sensor and will be water resistant and be main powered.
The current pre-order price is US$199, which is also same as the Kickstarter price back in September 2019. Looking at the details, it would appear that the Video doorbell will only come in a gold finish. The camera also support HomeKit, there is no mention on the site whether the camera will be compatible with HomeKit Secure Video.
Although I had to question its existence, It would appear this product exists as proven via Reddit user nobodysawme. Who posted a picture of the device itself and the settings menu in the Home app.
