Following on from our friend’s first look at HomeKit Secure Routers. Chris Young at HomeKitGeek has now followed up with a HomeKit Secure networking deep dive and take on his experiences with the privacy focused feature.
Chris has been using the feature with his Eero router for a few weeks now. So this video will attempt to answer some questions that came up before.
In the main, Chris is happy with how the implementation by Eero works. But he has concerns about the scalability of the Eero system. He feels that he cannot run it long term because of the size of my network. But adds if you’re a normal user, then the Eero router with HomeKit Secure networking can definitely add ease of use and security for your smart home.
