SwitchBot release Circulator Fan

SwitchBot has officially launched its new Standing Circulator Fan, a smart fan designed to combine quiet performance, portability, and smart home control in a flexible everyday setup. Designed to work as both a desk fan and a full standing fan, the new circulator features three adjustable height positions, allowing it to adapt to different rooms and use cases around the home. A built in rechargeable battery also means it is not tied to a wall socket, with SwitchBot claiming up to 28 hours of runtime in Baby Mode. The fan can additionally be powered via USB C using a portable battery pack, making it easier to move between spaces.

SwitchBot is heavily focusing on quiet operation with this release. Powered by the company’s SilenTech system and a DC brushless motor, the fan can operate at noise levels as low as 22dB while still delivering airflow speeds up to 6.1 metres per second. Combined with 90 degree oscillation and adjustable vertical airflow, SwitchBot says it can circulate air around a bedroom in as little as three minutes. SwitchBot also positions the fan as more than just a summer device. During colder months, it can be used to help circulate warm air more evenly around a room, while in transitional seasons it can improve airflow when paired with an air purifier.

For Apple Home users, the biggest feature is Matter support. When paired with a Matter enabled SwitchBot Hub, the Standing Circulator Fan can be added directly into Apple Home, allowing it to be controlled through the Home app, Siri, scenes, and automations alongside other smart home devices. Users can also adjust fan speeds and timers through the SwitchBot app with more granular controls available there.

The SwitchBot Standing Circulator Fan is available now through the official SwitchBot website and Amazon stores across the UK £99.99, US $129.99, Canada $199.99, and Europe €99.99.
