HomeKit Authority Rebrands to AppleHome Authority

HomeKit Authority has spent the last six years focused on Apple’s smart home platform and the wider ecosystem that supports it. Today marks a significant milestone in that journey.

HomeKit Authority is officially rebranding to AppleHome Authority.

The change reflects the direction Apple has taken with its smart home platform, which is now positioned and referred to simply as Apple Home. While the name is evolving, the mission remains the same. AppleHome Authority will continue to deliver clear, independent coverage of Apple Home, including news, in depth reviews, and practical guides designed to help users get the most from their smart homes.

All social media platforms, including YouTube, X, Facebook and Instagram, have already been updated to reflect the new branding. The community can still be found across platforms under @FollowHomeKit.

The website will remain HomeKitAuthority.com in the short term, before transitioning to AppleHomeAuthority.com as part of the wider rebrand.

Same focus. Same standards. A name that reflects where Apple Home is today.
