Aqara Launches FP300 Presence Multi-Sensor with Thread, Zigbee, and Matter Support

Aqara has introduced its newest addition to the smart home lineup — the FP300 Presence Multi-Sensor. Combining PIR (Passive Infrared) and mmWave technologies, the FP300 delivers both precise motion detection and continuous presence monitoring, offering a more reliable way to detect whether someone is actually in the room.

As one of Aqara’s first battery-powered presence sensors, the FP300 promises up to two years of battery life, making it a truly wire-free solution that’s easy to install anywhere in the home.

The FP300 supports both Thread and Zigbee, and is fully Matter-compatible, ensuring seamless integration with major platforms — including Apple Home, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa. Beyond motion and presence detection, it also features independent light, temperature, and humidity sensors, allowing it to double as a compact environmental monitor.

Powered by two CR2450 batteries, the FP300 can be mounted on walls, ceilings, or tight corners using its adjustable joint bracket, which also adheres magnetically to metal surfaces. Battery life reaches up to two years in Thread modeand up to three years when connected via Zigbee.

The FP300 offers AI-enhanced filtering to reduce false triggers and self-adjusting sensitivity to adapt to different environments. For those who prefer advanced control, the Aqara Home app (Zigbee mode) provides customisation options, allowing users to tweak detection ranges, disable specific sensors, and set timeout durations to fine-tune performance.

The Aqara FP300 is now available via Amazon in multiple regions — including the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. For a limited time, customers can use the following promo codes to claim a discount:
