Since Apple made iOS 13 Beta available in the summer, users have been complaining of the way they had grouped accessories with multiple sensors together. However, it looks like Apple has listened to users in iOS 13.2 beta and changed all of that.
A Reddit user has spotted changes in the latest iOS 13.2 that gives you the ability with accessories that feature multiple sensors to split them out, like in iOS 12. This change means that if you have a Philips Hue motion sensor, for example. That has a motion, light and temperature sensors. You can now go into the settings and split these to be displayed independent.
While some in the HomeKit community feel Apple has lost interest in HomeKit. Going by the amount of praise in the Reddit discussion, this is a good change.
